mpls te path metric-type (MPLS view)

Function

The mpls te path metric-type command in the MPLS view specifies a link metric type used to select paths for TE tunnels.

The undo mpls te path metric-type command restores the default metric values. This command can only be used in the tunnel interface view.

By default, TE metric values are used to select a path for a tunnel.

Format

mpls te path metric-type { te | igp }

undo mpls te path metric-type

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If no metric type is configured using the mpls te path metric-type command in the tunnel interface view, a metric type configured in the MPLS view takes effect. If a metric type has been configured in the tunnel interface view, this metric type takes effect.
