mpls te pce cleanup lsp-state

Function

The mpls te pce cleanup lsp-state command enables a PCC to perform local path computation for an established tunnel that is delegated to the PCE server if a PCEP session fails.

The undo mpls te pce cleanup lsp-state command restores the default path calculation function.

By default, the local routing function is used only for unestablished managed tunnels when the PCEP session fails.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When an MPLS TE tunnel is established using PCE and a PCE server is faulty or a PCEP connection is interrupted, a locally computed path is used for the delegated tunnel to be established. If a tunnel is established and the mpls te pce cleanup lsp-state command has been configured for the established tunnel, the local path calculation method is used to compute the path again for the tunnel. The PCC can then use CSPF (if configured) or routes to establish an MPLS TE tunnel.

Prerequisites

MPLS TE has been enabled globally using the mpls te command.

Example

# Enable a PCE Client to use the local computing function for the established managed tunnel when the PCEP session fails.
