peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time

Function

The peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time command configures the delay for disabling the forwarding function when the master device becomes the backup device.

The undo peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time command restores the default delay for disabling the forwarding function when the master device becomes the backup device.

By default, the delay is 0 seconds.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time delay-time-value

undo peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time delay-time-value

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 60, in seconds.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To configure the delay for disabling the forwarding function when the master device becomes the backup device, run the peer-backup download-vrrp-table delay-time command.

Configuration Impact

After this command is run, when the master device becomes the backup device, the forwarding function is disabled delay-time-value seconds later. When delay-time-value is set to 0, the forwarding function is disabled immediately.
