peer redirect ip

Function

The peer redirect ip command enables a device to process the BGP Flow Specification route or BGP VPN Flow Specification route's redirected next hop attribute configured using the apply redirect ip command run on a peer device.

The undo peer redirect ip command restores the default configuration.

By default, a device cannot process the BGP Flow Specification route or BGP VPN Flow Specification route's redirected next hop attribute configured using the apply redirect ip command run on a peer device.

Format

peer ipv4-address redirect ip

undo peer ipv4-address redirect ip

Specifies the IPv4 address of a BGP peer.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Usage Scenario

To enable a local device to process the BGP Flow Specification route or BGP VPN Flow Specification route's redirected next hop attribute configured using the apply redirect ip command run on a peer device, run the peer redirect ip command.

Precautions

The device can process the BGP Flow Specification route or BGP VPN Flow Specification route's redirected next hop attribute locally configured using the apply redirect ip command.
