The pim ipv6 timer hello command sets an interval at which an IPv6 PIM interface sends Hello messages.
The undo pim ipv6 timer hello command restores the default setting.
By default, an IPv6 PIM interface sends Hello messages at an interval of 30 seconds.

Usage Scenario
A router on a PIM-SM network needs to send Hello messages periodically to maintain PIM neighbor relationships. To set the interval at which an interface sends Hello messages, run the pim ipv6 timer hello command. To have a router rapidly sense PIM neighbor changes, set a Hello packet sending interval smaller than the neighbor timeout period configured using the hello-option holdtime or pim ipv6 hello-option holdtime command.
Set a proper interval value in the pim ipv6 timer hello command based on the configuration of the hello-option holdtime or pim ipv6 hello-option holdtime command configured on PIM neighbors.Prerequisites
The multicast ipv6 routing-enable command is run in the public network instance view.
Configuration Impact
If the pim ipv6 timer hello command is run more than once, the latest configuration overrides the previous one.
