The pim-ipv6 vpn-instance command enables IPv6 PIM and displays the IPv6 PIM VPN-instance view.
The undo pim-ipv6 vpn-instance command deletes the configuration in the IPv6 PIM VPN-instance view.
By default, IPv6 PIM is not enabled.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string. |

Prerequisites
The multicast ipv6 routing-enable command is run in the vpn instance view.
Configuration Impact
Running the undo pim-ipv6 vpn-instance command interrupts IPv6 PIM VPN services. Therefore, exercise caution when using this command.
