cmp request authentication-cert

Function

The cmp request authentication-cert command configures a certificate for identity authentication in a CMPv2 request.

The undo cmp request authentication-cert command deletes a certificate for identity authentication in a CMPv2 request.

By default, no certificate is configured for identity authentication in a CMPv2 request.

cmp request authentication-cert cert-name

undo cmp request authentication-cert

Specifies a certificate file name.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If you need to use CMPv2 to apply for a certificate, run the cmp request authentication-cert command to configure a certificate for identity authentication. An initiation registration (IR) carries the default certificate of the device.

Example

# Configure the certificate for identity authentication to bb.cer for a device.
