common-name

Function

The common-name command sets the common name of the entity.

The undo common-name command deletes the common name of the entity.

By default, there is no common name for the entity.

Format

common-name cn-name

undo common-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
cn-name

Indicates the common name of the entity.

It is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. Except the question mark (?) and space. However, when double quotation marks (") are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

Usage Scenario

The common-name command is used to describe an entity.

cn-name must be specified when entity information is configured.

Example

# Set the common name of the entity to test.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] pki entity entity1
[*HUAWEI-pki-entity-entity1] common-name test
