Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When using the trace function, you need to specify the type of the inbound and outbound interface names. You can use the cfm portid-tlv type command to set the type of interface names.

Vendors may adopt different TLV types. To implement interworking between Huawei and non-Huawei devices, you can configure interface-name to specify the interface name type as the string format.

On the network where only Huawei devices are used, to implement interworking between different versions, you can configure local to specify the interface name type as the private format.

Example

# Set the portid-tlv type to the string format.
