Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To allow dual-stack users to go offline from a single stack while staying online from the other single stack, run the ppp address-release separate command.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.

The ppp address-release separate and any-address-release offline commands are mutually exclusive.

The ppp address-release separate command takes effect for both PPPoX and L2TP users.

This command is used to process DHCPv6 Release messages on clients. By default, DHCPv6 Release messages on clients are not processed.

If the command user-basic-service-ip-type is also configured under the domain to specify the user's basic protocol stack, when the offline ip stack is just the same stack, a dual-stack user will log out.

Example

# Enable PPP dual-stack users in the domain named domain1 to go offline from a single stack.
