pppoe-server motm item delimiter

Function

The pppoe-server motm item delimiter command configures the delimiter between MOTM items.

The undo pppoe-server motm item delimiter command restores the default setting.

By default, the delimiter between MOTM items is a comma (,).

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The PPPoE protocol only specifies the MOTM option value in PPPoE packets to be a character string and does not specify the option content. Different vendors can have their own MOTM option definitions. To allow the to communicate with a terminal that defines a specific delimiter, run the pppoe-server motm item delimiter command to configure the same delimiter.

Configuration Impact

If the delimiter between MOTM items in PPPoE packets is incorrectly configured, the terminal may fail to identify the MOTM option.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
