Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When functioning as a DHCPv6 server, the device sends Advertise messages carrying the preference value. A DHCPv6 client selects a DHCPv6 server or selects an address pool based on the preference values.

After the address pool is bound to a domain or an interface, the preference value cannot be configured or modified.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Set the preference value of an IPv6 local address pool named pool1 to 10.
