The preference command sets the preference value of an IPv6 address pool.
The undo preference command restores the default preference value of an IPv6 address pool.
By default, the preference value of an IPv6 address pool is 255.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
When functioning as a DHCPv6 server, the device sends Advertise messages carrying the preference value. A DHCPv6 client selects a DHCPv6 server or selects an address pool based on the preference values.
After the address pool is bound to a domain or an interface, the preference value cannot be configured or modified.Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
