The ptp-adaptive domain command specifies the 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain where the Router is located.
The undo ptp-adaptive domain command restores the default 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain where the Router is located.
By default, no 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain is configured for a device.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
domain-value |
Specifies the ID of a 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain. |
The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 255 when no profile is configured. The default value is 0. After the ptp-adaptive frequency profile command is run, the default value of the clock domain changes to 4, and the value range changes to 4 to 23. After the ptp-adaptive time profile command is run, the default value of the clock domain changes to 44, and the value range changes to 44 to 63. |
Usage Scenario
A physical clock synchronization network is divided into multiple clock domains logically. Each clock domain has a clock source, and the devices in one clock domain traces a clock source. Devices in different clock domains do not synchronize clock information.
Precautions
This command is supported only on the admin VS.
Configure a 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain before enabling 1588 ACR/ATR unicast negotiation. Before changing the 1588 ACR/ATR clock domain, disable 1588 ACR/ATR unicast negotiation. If the ptp-adaptive domain command is run for multiple times, the latest configuration of this command overrides the previous one.
