The ptp uhpc enable command enables the ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function.
The undo ptp uhpc enable command disables the ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function.
By default, the ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function is disabled.
Usage Scenario
Devices that support ultra-high precision are running in high-precision mode by default if the clock synchronization service is deployed. The ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function enabled on a device deployed with the clock service improves the time synchronization precision. To enable the ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function, run the ptp uhpc enable command.
Precautions
The ultra-high-precision PTP timestamping function is mutually exclusive with 1588 ACR/ATR.
The ptp uhpc enable command needs to be run prior to the ptp device-type command.
