Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

PW APS can be used to ensure the reliability of LDP, SVC, and PWE3 PWs. In PW APS networking, the PW APS instance status determines the protection switching in a PW protection group. A PW APS instance must be created first. To configure the description of a configured PW APS instance, run the description command.

Prerequisites

A PW APS instance has been created using the pw-aps command.

Precautions

Only the NetEngine 8000 F1A supports this command.
