qos convergent-precedence cos high

Function

The qos convergent-precedence cos high command configures specific low-priority queues on a board as high-priority queues.

The undo qos convergent-precedence cos high command restores the default configurations on the board.

By default, the BE, AF1, AF2, AF3, and AF4 queues are low-priority queues and can be configured as high-priority queues. The EF, CS6, and CS7 queues are high-priority queues and cannot be changed.

qos convergent-precedence cos start-cos-value [ to end-cos-value ] high

undo qos convergent-precedence cos start-cos-value [ to end-cos-value ] high

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
start-cos-value

Specifies the CoS value of the start queue.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 4, corresponding to the BE, AF1, AF2, AF3, and AF4 queues.

to end-cos-value

Specifies the CoS value of the end queue.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 4, corresponding to the BE, AF1, AF2, AF3, and AF4 queues. end-cos-value cannot be smaller than start-cos-value.

Indicates high-priority queues.

Usage Guidelines

To prevent packet loss during network congestion, run the qos convergent-precedence cos high command to configure high-priority scheduling for queues on a board.
