qos scheduling-mode

Function

The qos scheduling-mode command configures LNS scheduling mode.

The undo qos scheduling-mode command restores the default setting.

By default, the scheduling is done based on tunnels.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

qos scheduling-mode { session | tunnel }

undo qos scheduling-mode

Parameters

Indicates that the L2TP HQoS scheduling is done based on sessions.

Indicates that the L2TP HQoS scheduling is done based on tunnels.

Usage Guidelines

The L2TP HQoS has the following two scheduling modes:

  • Schedule based on tunnels: Sessions for an L2TP tunnel are scheduled uniformly. A maximum of eight priorities and SP and WFQ scheduling modes are supported.
  • Schedule based on sessions: Packets of each session are scheduled separately and are in a single queue. A maximum of eight priorities and SP and WFQ scheduling modes are supported.
