radius-attribute case-sensitive qos-profile-name

Function

The radius-attribute case-sensitive qos-profile-name command allows a RADIUS server to support case-sensitive RADIUS attribute names.

The undo radius-attribute case-sensitive qos-profile-name command allows a RADIUS server to support case-insensitive RADIUS attribute names.

By default, a RADIUS server supports case-insensitive RADIUS attribute names, meaning all names are considered as lower-case ones.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To allow the device to support case-sensitive QoS profile names that some RADIUS servers deliver, run the radius-server attribute case-sensitive command.

Configuration Impact

The device supports case-sensitive attributes of HW-Subscriber-QoS-Profile numbered 17 and HW-QoS-Profile-Name numbered 31 that some RADIUS servers deliver.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The QoS profile name on the device must be the same as the QoS profile name that a RADIUS server delivers. If they use different cases, inconsistency causes the device to use QoS policies incorrectly.

Example

# Configure the device to support the case-sensitive HW-QoS-Profile-Name attribute.
