Function

The radius-attribute nas-identifier max-length unlimited command cancels the length limit of the NAS-Identifier attribute in the RADIUS packet.

The undo radius-attribute nas-identifier max-length unlimited command restores the length limit of the NAS-Identifier attribute in the RADIUS packet.

By default, the maximum length of the NAS-Identifier attribute in the RADIUS packet is 29.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In some scenarios, the default maximum length of the NAS-Identifier attributre fails to support the device name. Therefore, you need to run this command to cancel the length limit of the NAS-Identifier attribute in the RADIUS packet.

Precautions

In a RADIUS proxy authentication scenario, when the RUI master device and RUI backup device have different versions, you must upgrade the master and backup devices to this command version and then run the radius-attribute nas-identifier max-length unlimited command.
