radius-client packet

Function

The radius-client packet dscp command sets a DSCP value for RADIUS packets sent from the BRAS to a RADIUS proxy.

The undo radius-client packet dscp command restores the default setting.

By default, the DSCP value for RADIUS packets sent from the BRAS to a RADIUS proxy is 32.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

radius-client packet dscp dscp-value

undo radius-client packet dscp [ dscp-value ]

Parameters

Specifies a DSCP value for RADIUS packets.

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 63.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To prevent RADIUS packet loss during network congestion, run the radius-client packet dscp command to increase the DSCP value for RADIUS packets sent from the BRAS to a RADIUS proxy.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
