radius-server attribute translate(RADIUS server group view)

Function

The radius-server attribute translate command enables the translation of RADIUS server attributes.

The undo radius-server attribute translate command disables the translation of RADIUS server attributes.

By default, the translation of RADIUS server attributes is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

At present, RADIUS servers provided by different suppliers support different attribute sets. In addition, different suppliers define certain attributes in different manners. Hence, it is difficult to interwork the device with RADIUS servers provided by different suppliers. The NetEngine 8000 F supports the translation of RADIUS server attributes to cope with the situation. After the translation of RADIUS server attributes is enabled, the NetEngine 8000 F can translate the attributes as required when sending and receiving packets.

Follow-up Procedure

Run the radius-attribute translate command to configure the translation of RADIUS server attributes. For details, see "RADIUS Attributes" in the Feature Description - User Access.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
