radius-server connect-info

Function

The radius-server connect-info command enables authentication and accounting request packets to use the Connect-Info attribute to carry the uplink and downlink rates negotiated between the BRAS and DSLAM.

The undo radius-server connect-info command disables authentication and accounting request packets from using the Connect-Info attribute to carry the uplink and downlink rates negotiated between the BRAS and DSLAM.

By default, the Connect-Info attribute carries the rate limit configured on the BRAS.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In RADIUS authentication or accounting, to allow a device to trust the Option 82 field and use the Connect-Info attribute to carry the uplink and downlink rates obtained from the Option 82 field, run the radius-server connect-info command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
