radius-server test-aaa

Function

The radius-server test-aaa command configures the device to send Accounting Start packets to the RADIUS server upon the test-aaa command execution.

The undo radius-server test-aaa command restores the default configuration.

By default, the device does not send Accounting Start packets to the RADIUS server upon the test aaa command execution.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By default, after the test-aaa command is run, the device sends authentication request packets and Accounting Stop packets to the RADIUS server, but not Accounting Start packets. Some RADIUS servers, however, retains sessions if only Accounting Stop packets are received without any Accounting Start packets. To configure the device to send Accounting Start packets to the RADIUS server, run the radius-server test-aaa command.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
