Function

The recording-mode command configures a recording scheme to be associated with an HWTACACS template.

The undo recording-mode command deletes the preceding configuration.

By default, the recording scheme is not associated with an HWTACACS template.

recording-mode recordMode1 template-name

recordMode1

Specifies the mode.

The value is an enumerated type and can be hwtacacs.

template-name

Specifies the name of as HWTACACS server template that is associated with the recording mode.

It is a string of 1 to 32 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To simplify security management for users, use HWTACACS to record the commands that are executed by users to a HWTACACS server. When the HWTACACS recording function is enabled, and a recording scheme is configured on the current server, you can run the recording-mode command to configure an HWTACACS template associated with the recording scheme.

Prerequisites

Before the recording-mode command is run, the HWTACACS server template to be associated with the recording scheme must have been created.

# Configure the recording scheme named scheme1 to use the HWTACACS template named huawei.
