The remark outer-8021p command enables a device to re-mark the 802.1p value in the outer VLAN tag of VLAN packets.
The undo remark outer-8021p command disables a device from re-marking the 802.1p value in the outer VLAN tag of VLAN packets.
By default, re-marking the 802.1p value in the outer VLAN tag of VLAN packets is not configured in traffic behavior view.
Usage Scenario
To enable a device to re-mark the 802.1p value in the outer VLAN tag of double-tagged VLAN packets, run the remark outer-8021p command. After being re-marked, packets are placed in queues based on the new 802.1p values.
Prerequisites
A traffic behavior has been configured.
Configuration Impact
Packets matching the traffic classifier are placed in queues based on the new 802.1p values in the outer VLAN tags.
Follow-up Procedure
Configure a traffic policy and apply the traffic policy to an interface.
If a packet has two- or more-layered VLAN tags, the remark outer-8021p command re-marks only the 802.1p value in the outer-layer VLAN tag, with the 802.1p values in the remaining VLAN tags remaining unchanged.
