Function

The reset cusp session command restarts a CUSP connection.

The reset cusp statistics command deletes CUSP packet statistics.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

reset cusp statistics [ peer-ip peer-ip ]

reset cusp session peer-ip peer-ip

Parameters

Specifies a controller IP address.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To disconnect and reestablish a CUSP connection, run the reset cusp session command. This command helps verify the CUSP working process. Do not use this command in other situations.

Before you collect CUSP packet statistics in a CU separation scenario, run the reset cusp statistics command to delete existing CUSP packet statistics. Then, run the display cusp statistics command to view latest CUSP packet statistics.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Restart a CUSP connection.
<HUAWEI> reset cusp session peer-ip 2.2.2.2
# Delete existing CUSP packet statistics.
<HUAWEI> reset cusp statistics
