Function

The reset dot1x supplicant statistics command clears packet statistics about 802.1X supplicants.

Usage Scenario

When you run the display dot1x supplicant statistics command to check statistics about packets exchanged between an 802.1X supplicant and an authenticator, a large number of historical statistics may be displayed, which makes data analysis difficult. To resolve this problem, run the reset dot1x supplicant statistics command to clear existing statistics before running the display dot1x supplicant statistics command to view the newly collected statistics.

Configuration Impact

The statistics cannot be restored after being cleared. Exercise caution when you run this command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
