The reset mac accounting counters command clears the MAC accounting statistics of an interface.

The value is a 12-digit hexadecimal number, in the format of H-H-H. Each H is 4 digits. If an H contains fewer than 4 digits, the left-most digits are padded with zeros. For example, e0 is displayed as 00e0. |

Usage Scenario
To clear traffic statistics corresponding to MAC addresses learned by an interface, run the reset mac accounting counters command.
NOTE: This command supports the clearance of statistics based on interfaces, sub-interfaces, interfaces and MAC addresses, and sub-interfaces and MAC addresses. When statistics are cleared based on interfaces or interfaces and MAC addresses, statistics on the sub-interfaces of an interface are also cleared.
