The reset ptp statistics command clears statistics about PTP packets on interfaces.

Format

reset ptp statistics { all | interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } }

Usage Scenario

To clear statistics about PTP packets on a specific interface or all interfaces, run the reset ptp statistics command. After this, run the display ptp interface interface-type interface-number command to display statistics about PTP packets. The command output helps you check whether PTP device can implement time synchronization.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
