The reset service command clears service records.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

reset service { activate-fail-record | deactivate-record | update-fail-record }

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To prevent existing service records from affecting service exception cause identification, you can run the reset service command to clear the service records of a specific type before you reproduce a problem for troubleshooting.

Configuration Impact

Cleared service records cannot be restored. Therefore, exercise caution when running the reset service command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
