reset stp statistics

Function

The reset stp statistics command clears STP statistics.

Format

reset stp [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number } | vsi vsi-name pw pw-name ] statistics

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
interface interface-type interface-number	Specifies the type and number of an interface.	-
vsi vsi-name	Specifies the name of a specified VSI instance.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
pw pw-name	Specifies the name of a specified PW.	The value is a string of 1 to 15 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

Usage Scenario

Before collecting STP statistics on an interface within a certain period, run the reset stp statistics command to clear existing statistics.

When you run the reset stp statistics command:

If you specify an interface, STP statistics on this interface are cleared.
If no interface is specified, STP statistics on all interfaces are cleared.
