Function

The mpls rsvp-te resvconfirm command enables the resource reservation confirm mechanism.

The undo mpls rsvp-te resvconfirm command disables the resource reservation confirm mechanism.

By default, the resource reservation confirm mechanism is disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the resource reservation confirm mechanism is enabled on a node, all ingress nodes that generate CR-LSPs destined for this node will reserve resources and send Resource reservation confirm messages after receiving Resv messages sent by this node. The resource reservation confirm mechanism is not recommended for unidirectional P2P CR-LSPs.

Prerequisites

RSVP-TE has been enabled using the mpls rsvp-te command in the MPLS view.
