The rfc1583 compatible different-area-path prefer lower-cost command configures the VRP V8 device in RFC 1583 compatibility mode to comply with the route selection rules used by VRP V5 devices so that the path with the smallest cost is preferentially selected..

The undo rfc1583 compatible different-area-path prefer lower-cost command restores the route selection rules to those used by the VRP V8 device in RFC 1583 compatible mode.

The rfc1583 non-compatible backbone-area-path prefer intra command configures the VRP V8 device in RFC 1583 non-compatibility mode to comply with the route selection rules used by VRP V5 devices so that intra-area paths are preferentially selected.

The undo rfc1583 non-compatible backbone-area-path prefer intra command restores the route selection rules to those used by the VRP V8 device in RFC 1583 non-compatibility mode.

By default, OSPF route selection rules are not configured.

Usage Scenario

On a network where VRP V5 and VRP V8 devices are co-deployed, routing loops may occur if they comply with different route selection rules. To address this problem, you can configure VRP V8 devices to comply with the route selection rules used by VRP V5 devices.
