roam-domain

Function

The roam-domain command configures the roaming domain.

The undo roam-domain command restores the default setting.

By default, the default roaming domain is default1.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

roam-domain domain-name

undo roam-domain

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
domain-name

Specifies the name of the roaming domain.

The value is a string of 1 to 64 characters. The roaming domain must be existent.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When a user enters an unidentifiable domain name, the user is authenticated through the roaming domain configured on the BAS interface.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
