Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After a device is upgraded to a new version and starts running, you can run this command to roll back the device's version to the source version within the first 48 hours. The patch and configuration files are also rolled back.

Precautions

The rollback command rolls back the device to the previous version.

During the rollback, the device checks whether the software package, patch, PAF file, and configuration file of the source version are available. If any one is missing, the rollback fails. If the missing file is re-uploaded to the device, the rollback continues.

The command checks the validity of only the software package, not the validity of the configuration file, PAF file, and patch. The rollback is permitted when the configuration file, patch and PAF file exist.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Roll back a device version.
