service-policy cache update interval

Function

The service-policy cache update interval command configures an interval at which the downloaded EDSG service policy template is updated.

The undo service-policy cache update interval command disables the downloaded EDSG service policy template from being updated periodically.

By default, the downloaded EDSG service policy template is not updated periodically.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

service-policy cache update interval interval-value

undo service-policy cache update interval [ interval-value ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A BRAS can download EDSG service policy template from a server and saves the template locally. To configure an interval at which the downloaded EDSG service policy template is updated, run the service-policy cache update interval command. Each time after the update timer expires, the template is updated.

Configuration Impact

If the service-policy cache update interval command is run more than once, the latest configuration overrides the previous one.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
