Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

A TE tunnel can be established with a Huawei device as the ingress but non-Huawei devices as the downstream devices. However, if the non-Huawei devices do not support the affinity, the Huawei device and the downstream non-Huawei devices cannot communicate, causing the TE tunnel establishment to fail. To enable the Huawei and non-Huawei devices to communicate and establish the TE tunnel, run the mpls rsvp-te send-message session-attribute without-affinity command. This command removes the affinity from the Session-Attribute field carried in the Path messages that the ingress sends.

Prerequisites

MPLS RSVP-TE has been enabled globally using the mpls rsvp-te command.

Example

# Enable a device to remove the affinity from the Session-Attribute field carried in the Path messages that the ingress sends.
