Function

The set neid command sets an NEID.

By default, the NEID is 0x0.

set neid ne-id

Usage Scenario

If you need to re-plan a DCN network or different NEs have the same NEID, run the set neid command to set an NEID.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.

Two NEs on a same subnet cannot have the same NEID. Otherwise, network flapping occurs, and DCN connections cannot be established.
