The statistic discard enable command enables packet statistics collection in a VLAN.

The undo statistic discard enable command disables packet statistics collection in a VLAN.

By default, packet statistics collection is disabled in a VLAN.

Usage Scenario

By default, collecting VLAN packet statistics in a VLAN is disabled. Before you view VLAN packet statistics and locate faults, run the statistic enable command in the specific VLAN view to enable the device to collect VLAN packet statistics. If the device is disabled from collecting VLAN packet statistics, you cannot obtain the statistics.
