Function

The set ztp enable command enables the device automatically runs the ZTP process with base configuration at the next startup.

The set ztp disable command disables the ZTP function on a device.

By default, the ZTP function is enabled on devices.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the ZTP function is enabled on a device, the device automatically runs the ZTP process upon startup with base configuration. To disable the device from running the ZTP process upon startup with base configuration, run the set ztp disable command on the device.

Precautions

Do not run the set ztp disable command when the device is running the ZTP process. Otherwise, the ZTP process fails.

If ZTP is disabled using the set ztp disable command and ZIP is required at the next startup, you need to run the set ztp enable command to enable ZTP again.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
