Usage Scenario
To improve the reliability of an SR-MPLS TE tunnel, you are advised to configure hot standby for end-to-end protection.
To prevent frequent traffic switching in a tunnel due to link intermittent disconnection, you are advised to adjust the wtr parameter based on the actual link conditions. wtr indicates the time for switching traffic back to the primary LSP. After the primary LSP recovers, traffic is switched back to the primary LSP after the wtr time expires.Precautions
Enabling tunnel backup automatically enables the route record function no matter whether the mpls te record-route command is run.
