shutdown (Remote backup service view)

Function

The shutdown command disables a remote backup service (RBS).

The undo shutdown command enables an RBS.

By default, an RBS is enabled.

Usage Scenario

Remote backup enables a TCP connection to be used to send user information on the master device to the backup device. If a network change requires dual-device backup to be stopped, run the shutdown command to disable an RBS.

Prerequisites

An RBS has been created.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
