segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator

Function

The segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator command configures locator routes.

The undo segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator cancels the configuration.

By default, locator routes are not configured.

Format

segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator locator-name [ route-policy policy-name | route-filter route-filter-name ]

undo segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator locator-name [ route-policy policy-name | route-filter route-filter-name ]

Parameters

Parameter	Description	Value
locator-name	Specifies the name of a SID node route locator, which was configured through the locator command.	The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
route-policy policy-name	Specifies the name of an attribute route-policy for the locator route.	The name is a string of 1 to 200 case-sensitive characters, with spaces not supported. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.
route-filter route-filter-name	Specifies the name of an attribute route-filter for the locator route.	The value is a string of 1 to 200 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. The character string can contain spaces if it is enclosed with double quotation marks ("). If parameters are included in the referenced route-filter, specify values for them in the format of (var1, var2, ...var8) behind the route-filter name. A maximum of eight parameters can be specified, and each value ranges from 1 to 200 characters.

If users wish to publish a locator route via BGP, configure the segment-routing ipv6 generate-route locator command to convert an SRV6 locator to a locator route and add it to the BGP routing table.
