The loss-measure single-ended-synthetic send interval command enables single-ended on-demand synthetic loss measurement (SLM).
By default, this function is disabled.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
test-id test-id |
Specifies the ID of a test instance. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295. |
100 |
Specifies the interval. |
- |
1000 |
Specifies the interval. |
- |
sending-count count-value |
Specifies the times that SLMs are sent within each measurement period. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 1000. The default value is 10. |
time-out time-out-value |
Specifies the timeout period during which the device waits for a reply. |
The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 10, in seconds. The default value is 5s. |
Usage Scenario
When implementing frame loss measurement (LM), Maintenance Association End Points (MEPs) exchange ETH-LM frames. However, single-ended frame LM cannot collect accurate frame loss statistics on a point-to-multipoint or multipoint-to-multipoint network. To resolve this issue, configure single-ended on-demand SLM.
