start l2tp delete ip

Function

The start l2tp delete ip command deletes a locked LNS IP address.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

start l2tp delete ip lns-ip-address

Parameters

Specifies a locked LNS IP address to be deleted.

The value is in dotted decimal format.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If the LNS IP address configured using the start l2tp ip ip-address command is incorrect or unavailable, run the block lns-ip command to lock the LNS IP address before deleting it using the start l2tp delete ip command.

Prerequisites

An LNS IP address list has been configured using the start l2tp ip ip-address command.

Priority-based load balancing for tunnels has been configured using the tunnel priority command in the L2TP group view.

The LNS IP address to be deleted has been locked using the block lns-ip lns-ip-address command in the L2TP group view.

The L2TP tunnel to which the LNS IP address to be deleted is bound has been deleted using the reset l2tp tunnel lac remote-address ip-address l2tp-group group-name command.
