Function

The statistic enable command enables traffic statistics collection on a sub-interface.

The undo statistic enable command disables traffic statistics collection on a sub-interface.

By default, the traffic statistics collection function is disabled on a sub-interface.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

By default, interfaces are disabled from traffic statistics. Before checking the statistics about received or sent packets on an interface, you need to run the statistic enable command in the interface view to enable traffic statistics.

Precautions

After running the statistic enable command, you have to run the statistic mode forward command to allow the dual-stack traffic statistics collection function to take effect.
