Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After a sub-interface queue profile is created using the sub-port-queue command, you can set scheduling parameters for it. When a sub-interface queue applies for resources, parameters in the profile are used to schedule all user traffic on the sub-interface.

Before using the sub-port-queue command, note the following:

  • If the sub-interface queue profile specified by sub-port-queue-name does not exist, the system creates a new sub-interface queue profile.
  • If the profile specified by sub-port-queue-name exists, the sub-interface queue profile view is displayed. You can modify the sub-interface queue profile.

Configuration Impact

A sub-interface queue profile that is bound to an interface or sub-interface cannot be deleted.

Precautions

You can configure a maximum of 100 sub-interface queue profiles in the system.
