Function

The mpls te entropy-label rsvp-te command configures the entropy label for global tunnels.

The undo mpls te entropy-label rsvp-te command deletes the entropy label for global tunnels.

By default, no entropy label is configured for global tunnels.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

The entropy label is configured to address the severe load imbalance on a network. The entropy label capability is enabled on the egress for tunnels. An entropy label is set on the ingress. The mpls te entropy-label rsvp-te command is run to configure the entropy label for global tunnels to confirm the tunnel entropy label requirement, and the ingress sends the requirement to the forwarding plane for processing.
