Function

The mpls te bfd enable auto-primary-tunnel command enables BFD for TE LSP globally for a primary tunnel that is automatically established.

The undo mpls te bfd enable auto-primary-tunnel command restores the default path calculation function.

By default, BFD for TE LSP is disabled globally for a primary tunnel that is automatically established.

mpls te bfd enable auto-primary-tunnel { pce-initiated-lsp | segment-routing }

Usage Scenario

PCEP can trigger the establishment of RSVP-TE and SR-MPLS TE LSPs:

To enable BFD for RSVP-TE LSPs, run the mpls te bfd enable auto-primary-tunnel pce-initiated-lsp command.
To enable BFD for SR-MPLS TE LSPs, run the mpls te bfd enable auto-primary-tunnel segment-routing command.
