Function

The traffic-statistics packet-type enable command enables packet-type-based traffic statistics collection for VPLS PWs.

The undo traffic-statistics packet-type enable command restores the default configuration.

By default, packet-type-based traffic statistics collection is disabled for VPLS PWs.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To collect packet-type-based statistics about VPLS PWs, run the traffic-statistics packet-type enable command. The packet type can be unicast, broadcast, or multicast.

Prerequisites

Traffic statistics collection has been enabled for VPLS PWs using the traffic-statistics enable command.

Precautions

The traffic-statistics enable command applies to a specific PW. The traffic-statistics packet-type enable command applies to all PWs in a VSI and applies to both the inbound and outbound directions of PWs.
